20kg treasure of golden and silver coins

The treasure is discovered in 1964 in an average dwelling house in municipal district Puigreig. It was found in a coffer which was stuffed with silver and golden coins, which were in use in Catalonia in the middle of XIX century. The coins were of various mints of Spain. The overall weight of the treasure was over 20kg. The treasure counted 781 coins of a wide chronological period from XVIII till 1855. There were 730 silver coins and 51 golden coins.

The picture presents only a part of the treasure, unfortunately we did not managed to discover more images of this treasure.
